چکیده

Introduction: Waste processing in Final Disposal Sites (FDS) Indonesia is still dominated by open dumping. This condition causes health and environmental problems inhibits the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030. biomass that can be converted into electrical energy through Waste-to-Energy Plant (WtE Plant) installation. article aimed to illustrate potential WtE FDS supporting SDGs Discussion: Most waste are organic with highwater content 60-70% but have a calorific value almost equivalent sub-bituminous coal. studies show uses thermal method (incinerator) than other technologies because it has superior technical aspects (easy operation high generated around 9.86%), economy (medium investment value, profit moderate payback period 6.5 years) (reduction up 70-80% emissions), lower public impacts those produced dumping coal systems. For environmentally safe optimal results, necessary reduce wastewater content, increase pollution control units, implement an integrated monitoring system. Conclusion: The implementation accelerate achieve 2030, especially 7th, 8th, 12th, 13th goals concerning clean affordable energy, decent jobs economic growth, responsible consumption production, addressing climate change, respectively.

Analysis of Underpressured Reservoirs for Waste Disposal

Underpressured reservoirs are known to exist in sedimentary basins throughout the world and are common in North America. Deep-well injection of hazardous liquid wastes into underpressured reservoirs has been mentioned as a safe means for waste disposal because of their tendency to contain fluids for long periods of time. In this study, a numerical model based on the geological setting of the Hu...
